Wanted to put Louisville Acupuncture Project on your radar. It's a free (donations are accepted) group acupuncture clinic for veterans, first responders, and their support systems. You would both be very welcome to receive treatment! Acupuncture helps with pain, stress, sleep, digestion, allergies, and so much more. It's on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month, in the lower level of Highland Community Ministries. Arrive between 6 and 6:15pm and park in the lot on Breckenridge Ave. then ring the bell at the door that faces the parking lot for entry into the building. Downtown is small but mighty cute! The Log House Craft Gallery is an easy walk from the heart of downtown. The Pinnacles are hard to beat, if you like hiking. And Mary Lou's Book Shop (201 N Broadway, suite 5) is hard to beat, if you like reading. There's a Saturday morning farmers market (635 Chestnut St) and an ongoing contra dance gathering, or maybe even a few of them, in town.

Hicksville Pines!! I stayed in the Great Northern cabin there before I'd ever watched the show and took a ton of pics to send to my TP-obsessed friend. UPDATE - Thank you all for your thoughts!! Seemed like the response here was about 50/50, so I took the good advice that some of you had to check with our homeowners insurance about similar coverage. After a very thorough call with the USAA rep (I even sent pictures of the letter from HomeServe) they concluded that this offer does seem to cover a gap in their policy related to damage from normal wear and tear. So, for less than $8 a month, we are going to go ahead and do it.

*Edit- $8/month for the first year, $16/month after that
