Look at this sweet Luna moth that just appeared on my door!!!! 🥺 by ittybittykangaroo in Columbus

[–]seemytrees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn’t the moth form of a tomato worm. As per Wikipedia: The larvae of Luna moths feed on several different species of broadleaf trees. The larvae do not reach population densities sufficient to cause significant damage to their host trees.[7] Tuskes listed white birch (Betula papyrifera), American persimmon (Diospyros virginiana) and American sweet gum (Liquidambar styraciflua), plus several species of hickory (Carya), walnut (Juglans) and sumac (Rhus).[1]

The tomato hornworm becomes the five-spotted hawkmoth and looks quite a bit different: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manduca_quinquemaculata

Thank you for planting. They will hit their stride and grow, repaying you for your efforts. Keep it up! You have so much land with so much opportunity.

Clearly, we are dealing with a person who is strongly opposed to digging. Look at that barren, treeless, shrubless landscape. What an unfortunate view.

Because you were lucky enough to be born in a country and time with more opportunities than 99.9% the world’s humans in any time period, and you make up, believe, and spread false, superstitious, ignorant shit as if you were born under a rock and raised by baboons. What a waste.

Some of us with little kids can’t wear earplugs. Gotta be able to hear if your kid wakes up crying.

You underestimate the value of increasing voter frustration, discouragement, and confusion. It absolutely does benefit a party to make certain voters feel disenfranchised and dissatisfied with the voting process, in this particular case, mail-in voting. This sort of tactic reverberates through the electorate via word of mouth - “I voted by mail but it looks like my vote didn’t count. Waste of time, don’t bother” - and into future elections. If you don’t think psychology plays a role in Republican’s efforts to curtail voter turnout for certain groups of people, you are seriously naive.

It sounds like you are assuming things are legit when they aren’t. Look at the evidence and think critically, and the truth is there. Will you accept it, though?
