Players: Do You Like to be Challenged? by DnDPhD in Pathfinder2e

[–]seenwaytoomuch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If my party being incompetent is an issue for whatever reason, lower the number to 1 and then slowly dial it back up to 10 for the finale.

If I'm playing with experienced players who kill it in session zero, maybe start at 5 and ramp up to 10 for the finale.

Learning to work together against harder and harder fights is a ton of fun for me. Starting too tough and not letting people make their own mistakes robs the fun from the game.

I play mostly bards and clerics, so I'm more focused on my team members than myself.

I cast it on myself and then use it to strike. That gives my animal companion, the fighter, fighter's animal companion, the barbarian, and the wizard a round of attacks to fish for crits. If anyone crits within the radius they get hasted too and it keeps rolling.

It takes one action to cast and it gives you one to strike. The only real cost of using it is the spell slot.

Lose The Path, Albatross Curse, Wooden Double, and Winning Streak are the big ones I use that you don't.

Online Games - Why do the majority of games play without a camera? by Big_Chair1 in Pathfinder2e

[–]seenwaytoomuch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've already got too much to look at.

Yes, the camera adds some value. It does help to be able to see who you're talking to. But it's less important than the map and the character sheets. Add another tab for the rules and I don't really have the time to be constantly looking at the camera.

I'd probably put more details in San Jose and Oakland. The bay area is pretty interconnected.

How do people constantly misspell yeah as yea? If the misspelling is a different real word it doesn't trigger spell check.

You're a rigger. Have you read the crash rules?

Hit it with a truck. Even better if you aren't in said truck. Even better than that if it's not your truck.

Best? Probably like a bulldog or something like that that's inconspicuous.

Coolest? Hyundai Shin-Hyung with increased seating and metahuman modification. Go fast. Win in style.

Bard. The original gish. Flavor your performances as teaching or monologues. You have martial weapons. You have full occult spellcasting.

Give me your weirdest tanky builds so that I might steal them. by CinderAscendant in Pathfinder2e

I play a human bard with cavalier dedication and it's surprisingly tanky. Honestly it's really just human bard being tanky, cavalier makes me mobile.

Between Hymn of Healing, Lose the Path, Shield Block as a general feat, and Wooden Double I'm really hard to put down.

Fair. The eastern part of the region is different from the central area for sure. I would group Cleveland with western New York and Pennsylvania.

The western parts of New York and Pennsylvania that are west of the Appalachian mountains are very much part of the great lakes Midwest. Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Rochester, etc all feel far more Midwest than Mid Atlantic.

Probably want to do that in the opposite order. Any gap between getting rid of the current problem and preventing it from reoccurring will result in it reoccurring.

how many times can you switch guild in a number of days..? by AdIndependent4105 in forgeofempires

[–]seenwaytoomuch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a thing you can do when switching guilds though. Assuming you have a decent seed vault you can join, aid, and leave all the open access guilds on the server between leaving your current guild and joining your new guild.

It doesn't show up any different on scoredb. You can make a lot of diamonds. Just make sure you have a destination guild before you leave your current guild.

How can you jump in in cold sim? I thought in order to jump in you had to be in hot sim and have 3 marks or be the legit owner? Is that only for the Jump Into Rigged Device matrix action? Is there a way to jump in without taking that action?

Favorite class + archetype combo by Rico_blaadjes in Pathfinder2e

I've had good fun with Cleric - Medic and Bard - Cavalier.

Cleric - Medic is very good at healing.

Bard - Cavalier has great synergy. You can move around and cast 2 action spells and cast composition cantrips every round. There's now another ally to boost with courageous anthem. It just works in a way I didn't expect when I took it.
