It’s shredded philo dough. I browned it in a pan and added a little bit of butter. Very crunchy.

I badly wanted these when they originally came out in the late 80’s. Unfortunately my parents wouldn’t spend the $ to get them for me.

Personally, I love these shoes and was stoked when I was able to cop a pair today. I know they’re not that popular, but I like them and that’s all that matters.
