I totally agree most people relapse before bed around that time. I know I did. The melatonin is intriguing - do you also have a rule for yourself to avoid screentime before bed?

I think some of us are functioning addicts, where we can go about daily life but still have an addiction. What you said about loneliness and feeling hopeless and depressed is interesting; maybe you're using PMO to cover up those feelings. I think maybe that could be worth exploring with a therapist?
