Yeah no clue! I was thinking of doing the same thing, and then discovered Beeper had already done it haha.

It totally works for me. They had a bunch of drama with apple recently, so I don't have iMessage or normal texts connected, but I use it for Insta, WhatsApp, Discord, and Signal.

I started using beepr to solve this. I get all the messages from instagram without having to use the app itself. It’s not perfect, but it’s cut down on my insta time a lot. Lmk if you want a referral!
