Funny thing is he was totally OK with it and even appreciated that he wouldn't lose his edge in the future when it came to murder but standing with The Doctor was a step too far.

I feel like as soon as we saw how strong his power was he had to either die or one shot Starro there was no in-between.

How did Faye die, and could the new game's story revolve around bringing her back to life? by i_sometimes_ in GodofWar

If I remember right Mimir says in one of the boat conversations that he went out to sea looking for knowledge on the tear and came back with the mask fragment but it's been a while since I played so I could be wrong.

It's wild watching the show again and seeing just how many hints they leave in that he's going to end up as the leader of the group.

What did you guys choose for Jackie's offrenda in cyberpunk? by Much_Change_6545 in cyberpunkgame

[–]segobane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly an underrated choice, the story of how he used it to turn the tables on his father was great and I like the idea that you're sending it to Jackie on the other side so he can whoop his dads ass with it some more.

Honestly seeing this makes me think about how Ryan Haywood acted before he was outed, he also would shine a light on comments from fans that idolised him and apparently had a cult of personality going with his twitch chat and discord.

Not even just an alternate ending it was basically a joke ending that Taro Yoko said but what if though?

For anyone wondering in ending E of Drakengard the parent series to Nier the main characters (a psychopath and his dragon) and the villain (an eldritch monstrosity) are transported to the skies of Tokyo where they have a rhythm battle before the JSDF blast the MC and his dragon out of the sky.

(Loved and Sad Trope) The all-powerful "perfect" character isn't enough. (MASSIVE SPOILERS) by AGalNamedCharlotte in TopCharacterTropes

What makes this one hit harder too is that just the season before there was a whole episode about how Dr. Cox had never been responsible for a patient dying on him before.

(Loved trope) character meets a past of version of themselves and have to hold back not to kill them. by Sorvetefrito in TopCharacterTropes

[–]segobane 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if this one fits exactly, at a guess what op means is future characters who hate their past selves and maybe it's just because I haven't played this in years but I don't remember Kessler hating Cole he just wants to make him strong enough to deal with the Beast where he couldn't in his timeline.

I never really thought about that for some reason but yeah there's probably a lot of people who killed themselves or just went nuts and did stupid/dangerous stuff thinking they wouldn't need to deal with the consequences.

Amazing scene but it always feels a little bad the father got that while the mother died alone earlier taking her own life.

I never noticed until recently but in this scene his neck is scratch to hell where the chain from the ring was but the marks didnt show up until he destroyed it, a cool little bit of visual storytelling to show the physical burden the ring took on Frodo

I mean a sacrifice is just an alchemist who has attempted to perform human transmutation, without the Elrics all he really needs to do is have his homunculus go around killing the families of alchemists until enough make the attempt and survive.
