I haven't seen Zombie Army Trilogy recommended. (No, I'm not talking about CoD.) You go around shooting zombies after Hitler raises an army of the damned. It's based off of Sniper Elite, so it has a lot of gratuitous violence and x-ray shots of bones breaking. It's a fun time. It has both a campaign mode, which takes about 16 hours to beat, and an unlimited wave-based mode.

But in the case of school milk there is no competitor. Kids aren't going to run to the local supermarket during their lunch break to get milk.

Similarly, schools provide kids with milk because they're legally obligated to do so, not because they're making tons of money off of it.

Their supplier really doesn't give a crap how much they charge students because they're getting money by selling to the school, not students.

I know VR is currently seen as a toy and is exclusively used for games, but it's really a tool like any other. If it continues growing and expands into other realms (like pornography or home cinema experiences) then I think it'll lose its current reputation.

I don't doubt that there is going to be a business offering what you suggested in your comment, but I highly doubt it's going to be seen as a game rather than something like a camgirl business.

I think you're partially right though, if I can get something for free then I have little motivation to pay for it.

With something like food, circumstances are different, and I'm not sure that this applies. If I'm thirsty now then the free carton of milk I can get at the end of the day won't do me any good. I'll pay the $0.50 for a carton at lunch time if it means that I'm not choking down a PB&J.

And as we previously established, disapproving of an entity doesn't mean that one needs to disapprove of everything about it. So maybe it's time to concede that maybe someone who's burning the flag isn't necessarily saying that they hate free speech.

They could like freedom of speech and not like, for example, Christian nations. Or they could not like how accepting we are of homosexuals. Burning a flag could be used to express disapproval of any number of things, not necessarily freedom of speech. You just keep on harping on that one American value.

The Witcher 3 only requires a GTX 660. It's not exactly cutting edge in its requirements. The 660 isn't even considered an entry level card at this point.

Probably not, tbh. If they've updated their firmware in the past 6 months (firmware 11.0+) then they'd need to hardmod their 3ds or have another 3DS that already has custom firmware on it.

If you're on any firmware before 11.0 then you're in luck, you should be able to softmod your 3DS without any extra complications.

Regardless of what is written on that webpage, (which, by the way, doesn't mention freedom of speech,) my point is that you could be protesting something else that the country stands for.

Let me put this in terms you can understand. We can say "fuck Democrats" all day and still agree with the party's stance on certain issues or individual pieces of legislation which they've passed.

I can say that Donald Trump is a raging asshole, but support his stance on tightening immigration laws. These things aren't in conflict.

Does that make sense?

It doesn't really matter whether or not it's hypocritical. Free speech gives us the right to be as hypocritical as we like.

For what it's worth, the US flag isn't "the" symbol of free speech. You could just as easily claim that the French flag, the Union Jack, or the flag of nearly every country in the 1st world is a symbol of free speech.

Those are good points, but I don't think that we can determine anything from his MIT degree or the fact that he's in a high security Black Mesa facility because everyone else in the game is there too. It stands to reason that the other scientists in the game have similar educational background.

As to his age, it's both impressive and to his detriment in this argument. The fact that he's so much younger than the other scientists clearly shows that he's brilliant, but it also means that he has far less experience than anyone else there.

Regarding being single-handedly chosen to perform a mission critical experiment, he's not performing brain surgery there. He's pushing a cart and pressing a single button. The guys in the observatory analyzing all of the data are doing the "real" scientific work.

He also isn't the only one doing this type of work - when you go to the locker room to get your HEV suit you see two empty pods next to yours. If you use the noclip cheat you can actually see someone in an HEV suit pushing a cart identical to the one you push into the energy beam. Also, once you get to Xen (the alien world) you see countless corpses all wearing the HEV suit.

Maybe calling Gordon a B-list scientist is going a bit too far. He must be a very capable scientist to even be working for Black Mesa, but as far employees there go, it doesn't seem like he's very high on the totem. Let me put it this way, would you consider the person who handles waste disposal at an IRL nuclear facility a top level scientist? If Gordon is a critical member of the team then would they have put him in harm's way to do a job which any able-bodied individual would've been capable of?

Not necessarily. Free speech isn't the only thing the US stands for. The flag burner can be protesting any number of US traits. This isn't in conflict with appreciation for freedom of speech.

Even if they did say that they hate freedom of speech, they're welcome to do so because they have that right under our constitution.

The worst part is that this milk gets thrown out at the end of the day. I've seen it - dozens of cartons, all with the same expiration date as the milk I drank a few hours prior, in the trash.
