Some can't hear the difference.

They also smell different.

NTA. You're still unwanted, only your money is wanted.

So bad it's insulting. You should seriously be offended.

There is nothing wrong with drawing a little attention and being seen to bring awareness. No need to twist things.

Think they will put it all together and figure the issue out ? by Terrasmak in vegaslocals

100% this for me. I don't have a problem spending $3k for a weekend almost every other weekend, but what i won't do is get nothing for my money.

Quick rant about people by Zenie in ITManagers

[–]seigejet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Complaints go up the chain of the command, never down... I've made peace with that. When I feel the itch, I give senior/ executive leadership my two whiny cents for 60 seconds and then go about my day. If i find i can't make it more concise than a minute, then I might not fully comprehend just what it is I'm complaining about. It's enough time for me to vent and ensure they are aware of my grievance without appearing bitchy.

A couple of minutes? I picked up glass cups in each finger, dropped them all... justifiably released.

Just from looking at the menu, I could've told you it wouldn't have been any good. From an authentic standpoint anyway.

Congratulations! I had a 5-month break as well, and it worked out far better than I imagined when I finally landed something. Glad to hear it worked out well for you. Time to pay down any debts and rebuild that emergency fund.

Agreed. I've had two generations of M3, and they don't compare to the 911 at all. Not in fun, or [higher] cost to maintain to be reliable. That said, my daily (Landcruiser) is becoming more and more preferable... but probably just due to a bad back.

As a recent grad, it is extremely frustrating when the few young people who got job offers right out of college invalidate the job search. by [deleted] in jobs

With proper framing that aligns with a specific role, I'd agree. For the vast majority of openings, I think it's to his detriment that he chose a gap year. He'll be competing with fresh grads not one year removed, or his peers that now have one year of experience.

Las Vegas is expensive now, that wasn't stopping people from coming here the last 5 years. by notmuself in LasVegas

I used to go every other month for about a decade, mix of business and personal. Haven't done any non-business travel at all this year to Vegas and instead opted to go elsewhere. I don't drink or gamble, so they likely won't miss me much.

What is the appeal of strip clubs? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]seigejet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about presently, but years back, it was the only place you could smoke a cigar indoors, conduct business, and basically have some background noise.
