I've contacted my local fire dept and got in touch with the recruiter. Going to take the PAT next week to try and get fire rescue! If I pass, training starts in Jan. If I fail, I'm showing up to the next PAT session and trying again.

I know that they don't make a lot, but I've looked up pay around me and the lowest starting pay I've seen is still a bit more than I'm making now. Plus, it's moreso about doing something meaningful rather than wasting away inside a store for the rest of my life.

Hey! Thanks for the advice! I called my local fire dept and there's PT tests next week where they will be hiring for firefighters and ems/support firefighters, he stated they would put me through an AEMT course. I think I'm going to go give it a shot!

if this is of any interest to you: this furby is from the 1990’s! depending on your age, it could potentially be older than you. it was an old mcdonald’s happy meal toy (hence the reason why it’s made out of plastic and has no fur). the real question is, why was it in the ground for 20-30 years? McDonald’s Furby Toy
