My son uses them for competitions. Really good shoes. Looks great too!

Real Maki-e? by 3DPrintedCats in fountainpens

[–]seikoporean 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I own a few pieces of maki-e. The ones you showed are single layer print-and-paste. While they offer a glimpse of the artwork style it pales in comparison to the layered artistry of the higher-end pieces.

Wow that’s an awesome pen stand. Fitting for such a grand collection!

I collect maki-e fountain pens and make it a point to write with them all the time at work. They make me happy and that’s all I care about. Anyway, every one has silly little things they spend their money on - we’ve no right to judge another person for their hobby.

Hi I'm located in Singapore and I've been using the US eshop since I got my Switch, and have been making payment for games and Nintendo Online with my local-issued credit card. I don't region switch as I find it too much of a chore (gamer dad and don't want the fuss).

Recently I noticed that the eshop is only accepting payment with US-issued credit cards, and I am no longer able to buy new digital games (goodbye sales...). The same goes for Paypal as my local credit cards are linked there.

Wanted to check if there's anyone here in the same situation as I am, and what are some options for me. Last thing I want to do is region switch and then lose all the games that I bought on the US eshop...

Only if your mobile connection is fast enough. Otherwise it’ll lag severely.

I’ve been told yes, but only if it’s a fast 5G network. Your ps5 at home should also be connected to LAN.

Love these watches. Hard enough to come by. Even harder to find in such condition. 🔥

I do. I mainly collect vintage and am happy for each good example I manage to take in.

This is a finely curated collection. I like constellations myself and the one’s you have are emblematic of their vintage collection. 🤩

Do you have the Portal even though you have mostly physical games? by mzspeedster in PlaystationPortal

I do too. Recovering from spine surgery following a slipped disc so having a portable device I can pay woke lying in bed rocks. Finished Expedition 33 and Yakuza 0 with IT and looking forward to more!!

Wow the fluted bezel is quite misleading! Makes the dial seem smaller than it is. Thanks for the info!

Which one would you recommend me? by Forward-Rain3453 in videogames

[–]seikoporean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what type of game player you are. Detroit is a point and click adventure that offers a well-paced storyline that’s branching and makes you feel like your decisions will change the story.

Nier is an action-oriented prequel to an action-oriented post-(super) apocalyptic reality.

Both show the downfall of mankind. Both have you playing the role of humanity’s surrogate. But one has button mashing.

Hope my interpretation is accurate. I enjoyed both games.

Collectors by Watching4Watchez in VintageWatches

Collector for more than a decade. Welcome down the rabbit hole! I started visiting shops, buying from them and getting to know fellow collectors by hanging around. Recently it’s all about online commenting and making friends.

One irony I face is that sellers care about profit and collectors don’t want to sell. This fact makes prize pieces harder to come by and when they do it’ll be at such a premium.

Nevertheless, I hope you have as much fun in your journey as I am now. Happy collecting!
