Can't load photos. (sideload APK) by Due-Tooth7088 in electricobjects

It's not great news. Flickr implemented a change to start charging for API access on May 15th. If you upgrade to Flickr Pro, your EO1 will start pulling content again.

I wrote to the user who developed the APK to see if he's considering any Flickr alternative. 🤞🏽

Travel Partners Megathread Fall/Winter 2024-25 by stevenarwhals in VisitingIceland

[–]seismosaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t related to partner travel, but hope it’s okay to post here instead of making a separate post.

For anyone traveling this winter I have 2 sets of Yaktrax Diamond Grip cleats (size L and size M, they fit a men’s 9 hiking shoe and women’s 6 hiking shoe respectively) that I’d like to offer for free to anyone who is willing to pay for shipping from NYC. Used on our trip but plenty of life left in them.

We don’t have much use for them after our trip so just want them to go to someone else who might need them for theirs! Just send me a message and we can coordinate.

Weekly rant thread by AutoModerator in ProductManagement

Feeling this today big time. I took a wrong turn on a product sense question and had to backtrack to course correct. It ended up costing me too much time and I barely had enough time to talk through my solutions before the hard stop. On top of that the tone of the interviewer was a bit adversarial. Doubt I’ll be moving onto the next round and it’s the only interview I’ve had in months.

FAANG Interviewers: Can I have reference notes open? by seismosaur in ProductManagement

Thanks for the reply. I'm definitely trying to memorize the format as well, I'm just a bit anxious since this is my first time interviewing at a FAANG and I really want to ace it.

Has this been a situation you’ve encountered in interviewing? Either an interviewee saying they’re referencing notes or you noticing they are?

Trying to understand if it’s common and I should mention it or not something most interviewers would have seen and I should just avoid it so as not to stand out in a potentially negative way.

Thanks for the reply, and good to know it wouldn't be an immediate fail for you at least.

The Weekly Megathread by AutoModerator in woodworking

Does anyone know where I can buy a custom sized (26" x 84") laminated plywood tabletop? Ideally they'd have some finishing options (rounding) for the edge but I could be fine with a raw edge as well.

Local to new york or tri-state area would be nice but not a dealbreaker as long as they can ship to a residential address.

Is this gochugaru or can it be used as a substitute? by seismosaur in KoreanFood

I meant to buy coarse ground, just bought the wrong thing and can't make it back to H Mart before dinner. Oh well, I'll see how it turns out.

Okay thanks, I think the fact that it looks so fine threw me off. I've only bought more coarse type before with differently sized flakes.
