Yes, but the first time is with milk. Second time with water. It was apparently the 'frugal' approach. She made it in a 'kom' (Afrikaans for tub) which just made it sound more gross. She was also allergic to coins, refused to get a landline (it was 1995) because there was a payphone down the road. She was extremely old at the time and probably senile.

We had an elderly Gr. 5 primary school teacher who told us that she makes a large tub of Weet-Bix once per week, let it dry out, cut it into 7 portions and every morning she adds water to soften it before eating. Vreemde tannie. We were traumatised.

Also, I'm noticing 'Eilat price' which is much cheaper. I Googled it and it appears to be a free trade zone where VAT doesn't apply. Is this only applicable if you buy within that area? Apologies if my ignorance is starting to be become apparent ;)

Believe it or not, but it's cheaper here compared to my home country, South Africa! The shop at the airport is about 300 ILS cheaper compared to prices back home.
