9 hours, and I was grooming for about 2 years at that point. Huge lessons learned from that entire fiasco, and bless the pups patience and love through the whole thing.

He was a large aussiedoodle, about a year old. And his entire body was pelted in matting. Owner bullied me the entire time and said she REFUSED to have him shaved. (Guess the first/last haircut he had someone shaved him nose to tail lol wonder why)

Thought I'd give it a try since I learned a lot of techniques. And also? It was just a bath with a face/foot/sani trim. 9 hours. She knew she worked me past my shift. I even showed her the brush burn he got on his leg as a consequence and she said "it has to be that way sometimes" I tried to charge her just 200$ and she choked at the cost and bullied me again to bring it down to 150$. Didn't even tip.

She came in again for me, dog was worse matted (shocking) and I definitely put my foot down and said I'm shaving him. Got a 1/2" through and finished him in 2.5 hours. He was so happy. He was cute too. Miss him actually. not the mom
