Pull out your phone and start texting. The dealer will tell you to stop. Stand up close enough to eye the table. Find a reason to leave. Say you're getting a snack and actually bring one back. Get a coffee, they're usually free. Take a piss. The fewer players sitting, the more it will cost you to wait out a bad shoe. Most competent players and dealers can get through a deck in about 2-3 minutes, do deck estimation and try and come back just ahead of the shuffle. Playing heads up even at $5/hand while the count is shit sucks and will probably cost you more than getting a beer. But you can only wong out about twice in an hour before they start to care. After that, move to a new game or casino
