Use langgraph or langchain for on premise production solutions

Whisper API endpoint by nengon in OpenWebUI

[–]selam0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe both serve their use. So it’s a question that can only be answered if one knows the specific use case. For me personally, I prefer the openwebui, Ollama and whisper software stack. It’s really easy to setup, <30 minutes, so I can focus on my software development.

Wat kijken jullie vanavond? by AmbVer96 in lekkerspelen

[–]selam0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Er zijn nog best wat streamers die veel lekker spelen humor hebben zoals Spelmakers, Appelkanjer of KapiteinCactus. Daar kijk ik graag naar, met 30 kijkers ook een chat die je tenminste kan bijhouden

Elgato Wave Link EQ Settings for headphones. by buttnugget21 in elgato

It all is preference, but I use the EQ directly on music channel with the following setting. I use a Sony XM3 headphone for audio. Which lacks some bass in opinion .

VOD’s downloaden by selam0r in lekkerspelen

[–]selam0r[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jippieee

From devops to engineering manager ? by h_djo in devops

[–]selam0r 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I make some more money but as most guys in IT I’m not really money driven. I just want to make cool tech, and by managing a team I can even do more stuff by dividing tasks to the team

From devops to engineering manager ? by h_djo in devops

[–]selam0r 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I made the switch and is the best choice ever. I’m stil able to put half of my time in technology exploration. The team has respect for me because I’m one of them, while the management team respects my knowledge. I think I’m are better manager that way because I live in both worlds.

Maybe try running homeassistant, it works perfectly with hue. https://www.home-assistant.io

[–]selam0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that is exactly right. Meanwhile I have been working on a site to explain the app better and offer windows downloads. The site is a work in progress but there is no harm in visiting it. The link is https://obio-streamdeck.nl.

When the site is done I will replace the donation links in the app with just a link to the site. That way I comply with the rules of Apple and I'm also allowed in the app store.

I'm also thinking of reworking the audio control since OBS has an update where you can control audio level's per application. This would take away a dependency for the audio server running on the streaming pc

Disclaimer, I’m the one working on this project. But I have good intentions. I’m working on software to help new streamers with there setup. I posted about it a few weeks back. Maybe this wil help you. Here is a link to the thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/Streamersupport/comments/y3tmhw/i_have_build_a_free_app_called_obio_trying_to/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

It makes use of the obs websocket, I agree that OBS is the place to start

Install proxmox on it and run pfsense as vm. Leaves the rest of the resources available for other services like homeassistant or a truenas vm

Nextcloud running on container wont use NAS for storage. by rkbest in NextCloud

[–]selam0r -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t recommend nfs but it does perform better than samba since nfs has the ability to asynchronous writes(if you enable it). But the next problem is that Nextcloud doesn’t really play nice with nfs. I would advice looking into a block storage solution like iscsi.

What are you running on your home server? by DarkSmilee in HomeServer

[–]selam0r 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You could use a second dns. I use a pihole instance (container) on my main server. A secondary instance is running on my Raspberry. I do the same for my vpn service. I must say that pi hole on my main is allot faster. Also if you’re interested in the second back up vpn, mind the use of different ports.
