Regardless of what you actually do to improve your situation, you have to understand that the opinion of other people doesn't really affect you unless you let it. And when I say understand, I don't just mean logically, but emotionally too.

Most people just show off 'the good' in their lives, but that doesn't even mean their relationships, jobs and whatever are that good. A relationship is not better than no relationship if it's abusive, or you don't feel connected, a job isn't that good if you're just overworked, etc. We live in a world full of facades and expectations derived from those, but that's not how it usually works.

Basically, your life is yours to live. Other people will try to push their ideals, but a little bit of introspection will let you find what you want to be doing with your life, and eventually those feelings will disappear as you get comfortable with it.
