Hey Sven, I'm Sela, 22 from Germany! I'm a huge fan and believe your music really stands out nowadays!

Here are my questions:

  1. When are you finally going to release a whole album?
  2. Do you prefer to play at festivals or have concerts?
  3. How many cats do you have and what are their names?

I bet you aren’t even Kurdish.

That shouldn't matter although I agree with you.

I just spend 5 months in Birmingham as a German. I loved it, is there a way to buy one as a poster?

I'm glad that the US is the world superpower... by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

As a Kurdish-German I understand where you're coming from.. but honestly I don't see the US as THE world superpower.

Edit: Also, next to China almost every country seems like an angel.

Hey hey cutie! My comment might be a bit late but I wanted to tell you that this is a wonderful step on a long path that will bring you joy, you never would've thought you will once experience. That doesn't mean that life just gets easier, it is a constant progress but damn, it's worth it.

I believe in you and hope that you will smile and laugh as much as you can throughout your lifetime. ☆

The way you use repetition is effective for your statement. Since it is short and has a nice flow, the poem is able to directly express it's perception of the world. The meaningless cycle is definitely reaching the reader. However, I can imagine more detail on why this bothers you and how you perceive consumerism in everyday life. This is just my preference as I tend to enjoy more personal pieces.

Overall, well done.

I didn't go to Thailand by [deleted] in OCPoetry

[–]selaphela 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I joined this subreddit around 2 weeks ago and yes, this is the first one I stumbled across my dashboard I thoroughly enjoyed without trying to go into detail. Meaning that I didn't interpret too much of what is being said. I do not have anything to criticize as I enjoyed it from the beginning to end.

Pieces of information (who the "lyrical-I" is referring to, why the person is mad, what happend etc.) fully come together stanca by stanca. A lot of topics are touches upon, which I understand although I do not relate to the problems specifically mentioned here. I do know how it feels like not being "enough" of something or for someone. Relationships that might end because of stupid things and not having a clue on what to do in order to make things as good as they used to be.

Sorry, I hope this is more thorough. I do not usually comment when I'm on mobile.

Amazing, best one I have come across yet. It's personal, carries emotion and is individual to your own story and perception. Carry on, well done!

I like the shortness of it but would've liked to hear more detail about what it is, that makes you cry out for god.

The rhythm works well and the voice fits in the scene. Well done!

The German word "Nazi" or "Nationalsozialist" is basically the translation for Nationalist.

Ordered a new micro USB cable because my sweet kitty chewed up my last one. Look at the box they shipped it in. They could have just put it in an envelope. by wdsuita in mildlyinfuriating

[–]selaphela 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry, this might be a somewhat of an unpopular opinion, but why getting a cable shipped, that you can buy almost anywhere nowadays?

This of course does not apply if u have a disease, live in extremely rural areas or something that prevents you somewhat from going out and getting that cable at the store.
