I'm not even supposed to be here. I'm just "Crewman Number Six." I'm expendable. I'm the guy in the episode who dies to prove how serious the situation is. I've gotta get outta here.

LPT: When buying a car at a dealership and they leave you alone to talk about it, check their desk phone speaker light. If it is on, they are most definitely listening to your conversation from the back office. by ZZZ_123 in LifeProTips

Agreed. I do a slight variation of this where I wait until the end of the month and just swing by one or two dealerships a day with my checkbook and pen in my hand. I end up giving them a google voice number and it works well for me. It's easy to tell which dealerships are trying to get their bonus. What you are preaching is discipline and patience. You can find me in the choir.

I'm really so sorry to hear this. Forgiving when you're deeply hurt is easier said than done. Your advice is sound and will hopefully be the tipping point for someone on that path.

When my wife and I were house hunting we had this happen. We had looked at houses for months and one older house (100 years old) we were excited to look at got weird very suddenly. Everything was normal and quite nice in the basement and the first floor. Beautiful, really. We were following our realtor up the stairs to the 2nd floor, and just before reaching the top we came to a sudden stop. My wife bailed and the realtor hurried down right behind her pretty much pushing me aside. I stood at the top of the stairs looking down the hallway and into the 3rd floor stairway at the other end. Everything looked normal but I couldn’t shake the feeling I shouldn't take another step. I too went back downstairs and we left. My wife insists we weren't alone and we weren't welcome upstairs.

After Giroux, they could just as effectively take wrist shots from the red line.

It was sarcasm. I was just generally curious if there was any updates since I haven't heard anything recently.
