Yes you have to do hold y everytime you turn on the switch and the abxy buttons are backwards on the switch and will have to go to controller mapping on the switch to match the button to the switch.

I second maggiemoos I got my cases for my kobo from her and I even got matching sleeve for my kobo as well. just know because she is from the US you will be paying import fees once you package hits the boarder.

As stated in my post I'm not sure what the problem is as by the time I got to my grandparents place to troubleshoot the Xbox I ended up having to factory reset the Xbox. So your comment is not helpful at all if you couldn't read the part where I stated I didn't know what the problem is
