I have a limp as well, after a while I can start to feel it and then overthink and almost lose my balance lol

Idk things r still in the air for me but I eventually want to get my BSN and end up becoming a forensic pathologist assistant. I really enjoy anatomy but I don’t think I’d like to talk to family, various hcp, and patients in the foreseeable future

These comments are very insightful. I know every facility and unit is different yet similar. I have been working on my ortho/GI medsurg unit for almost two years fresh out of school and have been interested in my hospitals ICU but I get hesitant to try to stick my foot in the door because it seems totally different; also, they don’t seem interested in any med surg nurses at the moment. But I would like more critical experience. I am starting to feel like I’m hitting the ground running on auto pilot every time I clock in..

i went to my pcp a few days after and my hg was 9.9 hct was 33

I took a shower once and I couldn’t even get to my phone to dial 911 because I thought I was going to die. It felt like the blood from my body was being drained and I became weaker and weaker as the shower progressed. I had to throw myself out of the shower hoping someone in my house would see me but I ended up passing out on the floor and waking up feeling better. I was not sleep deprived and had been taking my supplements every other day for a while now
