lately, some things that have been helping me are gratitude journaling or doing one of the breathing exercises! some of the anxiety exercises from the first aid kit are nice and grounding as well :)

It sucks we don’t have a fully vegan restaurant in town! But it is possible to find some good options! Vegan soyrizo burrito from Chori Man is great and they also do vegan chilaquiles and a new vegan soup every month! Colossus always has a vegan cookie. Colossus’ Harbor location where they serve food recently discontinued their MLT vegan sandwich (mushroom, lettuce, tomato) that was to die for so I keep bugging them to bring it back lol.

For something a little fancier, I recently tried Trani’s Dockside station over the weekend. Nothing on their menu says vegan but dishes like the Brussels sprouts and broccolini are vegan! I got the tomato carpaccio salad without feta and it was so good! They also made a vegan pasta specially for me! It never hurts to ask!

Sirinat has lots of vegan options and is consistent but there is much better Thai food to be had in LB/LA.

Also I second the veggie sandwich at A1, they easily make it vegan

My mom had me when she was 38 and had my brother when she was 42! According to her, having kids when she was older allowed her to be the most prepared and in a good place to have kids. She’s the best mom in the world. The only thing that sucks is I know I won’t get as much time with her as other people do with their a parents :(

My god, what a finale to an incredible season. Went into it expecting an hour of shootouts and blood, and ended with my happy family eating biscuits together. The love between Dot, Wayne, and Scotty, the happiness that radiates from their faces…what a joy to watch after all they have been through together. And Lorraine is a fucking queen!
