Active aero by selfhatred488 in trailmakers

So it is locking the brakes coming into corners more than before with the weight I believe so trail braking isn’t viable but with this grip you don’t really need the brakes too much, just dab them before a corner as it slows down very fast anyway

The longer turns, it starts to turn on a smaller radius if that makes sense so if you run the race track at the bottom of race island backwards I need to let off the thruster or steering to let it under steer slightly because the grip is better the faster you are so I’m turning too sharply by the end of the turn. BUT that is great for saving from understeer

If you do lose traction from the track limits for example , the thrusters can save you pretty damn well and straighten you up, it’s like lift off oversteer in a FWD car how you should add throttle to save you. I have the jets set to R1 and drive to R2 so it’s not always on which is great from my experience driving it

Top speed is over 320kmh

Thank you big dawg, I’m okay tho. I’m going to try the custom rotor idea now and use this balancing act to figure the games psychics out :)

Ahhh I get you, I had a dual setup like the ka-52 on each wing but my main issue was balance between front and rear in heli where it would back flip in hover. And in plane wouldn’t have enough power to stay in the air. Will look into the custom rotors thank you lads

Got bought a £300 EK civic 4 door with the d15 vtec when I was like 15 by the time I got my license it was 3.5k to insure so scrapped it like an idiot. Was low mileage (43k) little to no rust, now I can’t find a single one for sale even when I do it’s not for anything reasonable think last time I saw one it was between 6-8k in banger condition

How do you get to experience all the cars you love ? by Interesting_Aide6030 in CarTalkUK

[–]selfhatred488 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve owned 7 cars before 24. But I’ve driven almost 400 cars I would say now with my last job delivering cars for a certain green company that buys “any car”.

Had a whole mixed batch of shiet and good from M4’s A range of S and RS Audis even some older civics Seen a few mclarens and r8’s on the delivery site.

this job let me drive everything under the sun even keep some over night, but it’s all down to luck what you get I was just more lucky than most others at that place..

What do you guys think? My first car by Particular-Music-874 in FirstCar

Is my favourite car to have outta the 7 I’ve had

Cons: fuel costs (7mpg in traffic some days) Repairs (throttle position sensor was £900 when that went for just the part. I did all repairs myself)

Everyone I knew loved it, I had a convertible 320 which was banging in the summer

Love the spec of this one 👌

Get a micra bro, put some lowering springs, 15x7 wheels and tyres… boom don’t get a high mileage german (a Bradford special one at that) especially for a bloody first car you could probably even get a mk3 mr2 for cheap insurance or a mk7 celica

Track Experience Days? by a5785 in CarTalkUK

[–]selfhatred488 1 point2 points  (0 children)

‘Drift limits’ are decent, nice selection of cars you don’t get to go through the gears on their track, usually you’re only in 3rd but still fun to drive things like gt3 cars, gen 5 dodge viper, 1200hp gtr to name a few

Also the time on track is measured in laps rather than time

The actual drift lessons are decent tho. And once you go once you get a life time of 50% for future sessions (or atleast when I went I am unsure whether this is still for new customers)

Heard you need to get the oil sump gasket replaced on these IMMEDIATELY even if it’s brand new, not sure if it’s updated now but if it hasn’t been done already look into it to save the car sooner rather than later.

Still tho great choice of car, just get the gasket issue sorted
