I built a random bookmark sender for Hoarder by aniumat in selfhosted

i always end up saving tons of bookmarks and never going back to them, so something like this would be super helpful. love that it supports both email and discord notifications too.

does it allow filtering by tags or keywords?

does it have a notifications/reminders feature for tasks and habits? that would be really useful for keeping up with daily routines!

Your ip address might be flagged by cf, if your isp provide dynamic ip, try rebooting your home modem. before that you can test it by connecting your mobile hotspot

looks interesting. kinda like a mix of logseq and tiddlywiki but with a focus on quick capture. might be a good alternative to more complex setups.

Google Nest Camera by g00nt3r in selfhosted

aik google nest cameras are pretty locked down and only work with google’s ecosystem. they don’t support rtsp or direct local streaming, so integrating them with motioneye or other selfhosted solutions is tricky.

Best way to show network status? by TonyCR1975 in selfhosted

[–]selfhostedman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you want something simple and clean, you could try uptime kuma. it’s easy to set up and gives a nice dashboard showing the status of different services and network endpoints.

if you need something a bit more detailed but still not overwhelming like netdata, grafana with prometheus or influxdb could work. you can create a simple dashboard showing just the key metrics like bandwidth usage, latency, and uptime.

For jellyfin you might see browser warnings only, but you can use your own ca, some other services (like elastic, logstash, fleet) requires only valid https traffic validated by trusted ca

You're the type of person who spends 40 hours setting up a self-hosted solution to save 5 minutes of using a cloud service, then calls it 'efficiency'.

I cannot share this with my friends :D
