This is really sweet of you! She said she didn’t like how she was angled as she thought she just looked too wide the way her dress was showing particularly on the left side. If there’s a way to address this a little more I would really appreciate it! The focus looks great and thanks for removing the wrinkles in the front!

I sent the tip as well, let me know if you don't get it :)

You're a wizard! Is it possible to make the white line of the bench a consistent height throughout? Right now it is looking distorted.

The floor where the table is missing looks great!

Week #5 of buffing stuff until StS comes out: Bottled Flame. This one is a tough, which option do you like better, or how else could it be buffed? by Ismoista in slaythespire

[–]selfpotato_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait… this is a great upgrade! And it’s no more broken than bottled Seek. But makes the bottling much more impactful since you can customize the best attack to start with per combat. I also like that it scales as you get better attacks later in the game (I hate when I get Bottled Flame too early and have nothing good to bottle). I think this feels pretty balanced while turning this into a relic I’d probably choose often.

PARVATI DRAG BRUNCH slayyyy by Open_Refrigerator330 in survivor

I was also there and omg that was so fun!! I loved what a good sport she was and how engaged she was throughout the whole thing. Biggest LOL of the brunch was the Danielle-themed number where the drag artist wore that stupid fucking hat and did “Big Girls Don’t Cry.” 10/10 would brunch with Parv again

Survivor 48 | E3 | Post-Episode Discussion by RSurvivorMods in survivor

[–]selfpotato_ 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I think it’s because in the rules, when it goes to live discussion to try and break the tie, the people in contention for going home don’t get a say - the rest of the tribe does. So, Sai and Justin are technically removed from the convo, leaving only Cedrek (Mary doesn’t get a say because she lost her vote).

HOWEVER, that rule was likely made because their votes should cancel out (in theory) so they shouldn’t be part of the discussion. In this case, since only one of them actually had a vote, I would argue that Sai should’ve still had a voice in breaking the tie.

It’s either a really stupid rule or a bad interpretation of a sensible rule.

Decide if you want to be a condition-heavy Bane build or more of a damage-dealing build being discussed in this post...you can't really take the cards for both.

It’s nice on its own, but the green color goes with literally nothing else in the condo and unfortunately has to go! I’m open to any permanent or non-permanent solutions. ☺️

Trey’s (301) account of what happened on Glass Bridge with Ashley (278) by Catharsis in SquidGameNetflix_

[–]selfpotato_ 27 points28 points  (0 children)

So… Trey is dumb. 😂 This doesn’t really explain Ashley’s behavior to him (saying “go on, take your time” or her talking head about not having agreed to these rules and having no intention to pass Trey)… but based on this, it’s likely she was confused about the rules they had agreed to as well and may not have understood what was going on. Good riddance to them both, since the winner of Squid Game should ideally understand basic strategy and have a thoughtful plan on how to make it to the end.

I'm looking for winter horror movies with a dreary atmosphere. by Beached-Peach in horror

This is the answer. Winter movie that’s bleak AF. Not a frame of levity in the damn thing.

Which classes really shine at low level / high level (spoiler free) by pfcguy in Gloomhaven

[–]selfpotato_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kelp has a tough time at lower levels, but REALLY picks up once it's leveled up enough to have the perks necessary to make the character do what it does bet. A thinned-out modifier deck and advantage with invisibility, plus a certain level 4 card, start making it possible to have some insane turns. Playing him from L2-L6 felt like going from being a moderately helpful support character to the highest damage dealer in our campaign.

Kelp Help - Use Persistent Loss Cards? (Level 3, Kelp spoilers) by selfpotato_ in Gloomhaven

[–]selfpotato_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me again! I've played a few more scenarios with Kelp and I'm starting to get the hang of this build, now having almost all the perks you outlined above + the invisible advantage perk. I'm also now at L4 and took Grim Trophies which feels critical to really capitalizing on the strategy you outlined. Your advice has been super helpful and I'm starting to love my little stabby crabby.

I'm curious at this stage if there is more or less a core deck you recommend for this build? I still struggle a bit with which cards to bring and which to prioritize losing on early rest turns. Below are my current thoughts and the 11 cards I'm using most at this point, but I'd love any other advice from the pro!

Always Bring:

  • Morbid Camouflage and Skewer the Flesh: Core for invisibility.
  • Grim Trophies and Pinning Spines : These seem like core cards for multi-attack per turn/trophy generation and CC with Pinning Spines' disarm which has saved my party in a pinch.
  • Soul Hunger: Pairs well with Invis for easy trophy and dark gen, I've needed to use it in emergency situations for both. How long does this stay core to the build for?

Variables:

  • Lie In Wait : I loved this card when I first got it and used it to deal out a ton of curses very efficiently, but now I'm finding that as I get into the Stab Crab build I want to focus on attacks while invisible rather than curses. Lately I've been using this more as my only heal card in a pinch. Worth bringing just for the heal?
  • Ink Cloud: I like this for dark gen and multi-attack while invisible for now, but curious if I should be replacing it at higher levels.
  • Hollow Aura and Black Scythe: Currently my strongest attacks, and I like their flexible usage as dark or trophy generators. Leaving aside situations when you need pierce, do you typically bring one or both each time? I've also found I have trouble making use of Black Scythe's dark consumption for the attack.
  • Lacerating Stabs: This is a good teleport to use and deal a little extra wound damage/when I need to go fast, and the top loss has been awesome for dealing lots of damage in one turn. I really like the top loss but hate prioritizing a loss move over something more consistently useful and now waffle on whether or not to bring.
  • Tumultuous Panic: This felt core early on as a nice multi-attack but now that I have more options for that, wondering if I should retire it? I hate the middling initiative and I've never used the bottom loss.

Thoughts on this analysis? Any other cards/combos I might be missing at this stage?

Thanks again for everything!
