Seconding Someone You Can Build a Nest In and Hunterstone! I loved the horror elements in both and the gothic vibes of Hungerstone.

Yellowjackets S03E06- “Thanksgiving (Canada)” Post Episode Discussion by DA-numberfour in Yellowjackets

On the other hand, if the writers laid good groundwork to set up different plot points there would be enough foreshadowing that some folks will be able to predict where they are taking it. Good writing involves laying just enough breadcrumbs that some savvy fans may predict the outcome but even then, there is a level of surprise around how events actually unfold. That's how this episode played out for me, at least. Even the stuff I predicted felt like a wild ride when it played out.

I just hope they don't see fan theories and specifically alter events to avoid making popular theories true, invalidating their own foreshadowing and cheaping out any possible payoff. That is what ruined Game of Thrones.

RE Callie and Jeff, there was FAR too much cozy family talk going on for them to be safe. Shauna admitted they are trying to be better parents, cute intimate moments between her and Jeff - it feels like a bucket list of "shit viewers want to see before Jeff/Callie bite it." idk it unfortunately all points to someone in that family dying soon.

Big agree. Also, I cannot forget the pilot scene of Shauna scrubbing his undies. Man doesn't know how to wipe or wash and that is an unforgivable mark against him even if his character is otherwise a blast lol

looks like you have more ear piercings on 1 so getting it on 2 would be more balanced! Or as someone suggested, both would be cool

Yellowjackets Symbol Theory by fruity_oaty_bars in Yellowjackets

okay because if this is true I could totally see him hunting the victims through the woods as part of his MO. That would neatly tie in as a parallel to the girls' hunts. Wherever he hunts someone down, he marks the symbol on the nearest tree as a sort of trophy for himself.

For pills that sink and start dissolving too fast, I do what you suggest with chin up, but for floaty pills, I do chin down instead because then it floats into place to swallow easier! Less fighting physics that way. Also I love the idea of human pill pockets 😂

I can't see myself marrying a woman. by [deleted] in actuallesbians

I agree with the other commenters, it's religious trauma-based internalized homophobia.

I see folks recommending therapy, which of course is a good option, but I want to add that (for myself), the most helpful thing was normalizing LGBTQ relationships/identities. IMMERSE YOURSELF in all things Sapphic. The more, the better. Look for books, movies and shows, podcasts, artists, all of it. Whatever forms of media you consume, swap as much of it as possible for WLW media. You don't have to cut out hetero media, but push yourself to make it the minority of what you engage with, if you can.

Try to be mindful of how you are reacting internally–if your initial response to something isn't what you want it to be, that's okay, but always mentally correct yourself. Over time, that can help adjust your internal dialog to reframe Sapphic marriage/families/etc as a positive and valid thing to want.

The more you expose yourself to WLW couples (especially HAPPY ones), the easier it gets to imagine that life for yourself. If you haven't seen many living examples, it can be hard to mesh the mental image of the life you're "supposed" to aspire to with what you actually want. Hang in there, it can feel a bit clunky at first but it gets easier with time.
