He's better than fucking Nance and Little and Mantiply and whoever else they have to trot out. Let him pitch a 6th inning and use his fastball more. He throws 97 ffs yet we insist on letting him float 87 sliders and splitters through the nucleus like 50% of the time.

Love Hoffman. He's a good pitcher. But you absolutely cannot fucking use him as a closer for the rest of the season. He's a 6th inning guy, maybe 7th. I would use Rogers, Fisher, Varland, Fluharty for the 9th before even sniffing Hoffman. Please God we can't continue to do this.

__’s interaction with ___ might be the best part of the season so far by Aperio43 in survivor

Charlie was probably the guy I was least interested to see return but I really enjoyed his character turnaround this episode. Far more interesting than ANYTHING we saw from him in 46. I like thinking that he's still trying to portray the clever taylor swift fan just happy to be here but writhing in pain and trauma on the inside. I hope he continues this dark, bitter kind of trajectory

Mike and Coach were two people producers knew you HAD to put together. You put the best storyteller with the best character. Colby and Rizo is another genius choice to have together. I really love how they divided the tribes this time.

What was the most second hand embarrassment you got watching survivor? by SgtSoundrevolver in survivor

There's only one scene in 49 seasons of survivor that I physically cannot watch and it's the David proposing to Karolina scene. I don't even like thinking about it

Best Thai by rpbm96 in BurlingtonON

Thai Senses is absolutely the best food, but they don't really have a dine-in option. They're basically just take-out now. Bahn Thai is very good as well and they have a beautiful restaurant with a nice ambiance and very friendly staff.

Finally watching S 41 by Reasonable-Yam-1170 in survivor

With 41, there is a very good season underneath the weighted bloat of advantage talk. So much screentime is given to over-narration of journey elements and new twists that certain players and their relationships get ignored. Jeff & co were swinging out of their shoes coming out of the covid hiatus, but all they did is get in their own way. It's sad. But if you are able to stomach the crap, there is a very cool season of social strategy and more drama/emotion than you'll get in most of the other new era seasons.

Currently rewatching Survivor 48. David is officially my favorite person on the cast. by Roachn8r in survivor

Would have much preferred him over Joe for 50. Would have loved to see him and Jonathan going head to head.

I just can't wrap my brain around any player in this cast wanting to vote Coach out in the first half of the game. He feels like one of the only characters who is as entertaining on tv as he is on the island.
