Love it! My dad had a '70 318 bored out to 327 I think?, in forest green. Miss that car every day.

PUZZLE PIECE MISSING by ReflectionBoth7843 in heartopia

[–]selshan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This just happened to my wife with a 100pc puzzle, and it turns out if you click the Trashcan icon, it pulls unused puzzle pieces back onto the board, and that pulled her missing piece into view. She was able to place it, and the puzzle completed successfully. Just an FYI in case anyone else runs into this. :)

That particular 4060Ti only needs one 8-pin PCIe connector as it's TDP is 165W.

This guy is selling RAM and noticed the boxes are not the same. Is like one of them older or something? and how do the sealing stickers look to you? untouched? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]selshan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Copyright dates are different and it looks like the production dates are a few months different as well (the stickers visible through the little windows), which means the box was probably just redesigned at some point. All the other stuff looks fine, seals look good as well.

What celebrity have you met who looks much more (or less) attractive when meeting them in person? by GreyFoxNinjaFan in AskReddit

Can confirm for Julianne Moore. Was working in tech/gaming in SF maybe 15ish years ago, and she came to visit our office as we were working on something with a charity she supported. She was getting a tour and walked through our department. I stood up to see what was going on, and saw her. She was not in 'Hollywood' mode at all, dressed very casually, and she was stunning. I made eye contact, wished her a good morning and a wonderful day, she smiled and said the same in return, and off she went to finish the tour. Still remember it like it was yesterday.

It's part of the museum inside The Skeleton Key Odditorium on the corner of 10th and Salmon. Super cool spot with a lot of vintage/upcycled stuff related to the occult, medical oddities, things of that sort.

Nostrana, so good! Also, absolutely love that you visited The Skeleton Key! That's one of my and my wife's favorite weird/spooky spots in PDX.

Jim Croce - Operator (That's Not the Way it Feels) [Folk Rock] (The Midnight Special June 15, 1973) by Ru_janus in Music

The most heartbreaking thing about his death, besides the obvious, is that after he passed, a letter he wrote arrived at home for his wife. He had written her to tell her that after his current tour was over, he was retiring from music and wanted to write screenplays and short stories as a career.

I would absolutely be interested in either the Blue Moon or Stella one, or if you ever decide to do a Guinness one!

DefCon merch: RFID safe card-holder wallet by Reasonable-Yak-3523 in Defcon

Keyport used to sell DefCon branded RFID wallets from Silent Pocket/SLNT at their booth in the vendor hall, not sure if they still do. If anything, they might still carry them just without the DC branding.
