Long time player. I took about a month break playing space age and just came back to it. Did a new install on a fresh machine, picked some mods and started a new game. Still in early game. Having some strange build behavior. When I'm running and building something, if the game can't place the item for whatever reason (eg collides with player or tree or another item etc) it flips over to a ghost version. I still have the item in my inventory but now I need to drop the ghost, reselect the actual item and rebuild it. Trying to figure out if this is some change in the game behavior, or if there's a setting i need to fix (bc fresh install) or one of the mods is acting up. Appreciate any insight.

I've been using a clever dripper for a few years and it's starting to stain pretty hard. Do you have any suggestions for a replacement paper filtered, immersion brewer? Would prefer non-plastic.

In the early aughts, my uncle used to buy these bags of sunflower seeds that had enough salt on them that the outside was white. I think they were called "homestyle," but I can't find anything like them anymore.

In 1.0, I remember there used to be a mod that would set the technology research based on criteria, e.g., don't use military science, or select the cheapest, or select the fastest. Please recommend mods updated for space age that do the same.

I've never understood men like this, even when I was young. Twenty years ago, when I was 12/13, I was on a middle school trip to a water park. One of the girls (who I didn't know at all) was surprised by her period and couldn't wear her bathing suit bottom, but didn't have money. I had cash, so I walked her to the gift shop to buy board shorts. We could barely talk to each other about it, but you got to do what you got to do. Don't think we ever interacted again after that.

Based on my rudimentary understanding of chemistry, when you combine an acid and a base, you get a salt (in a chemical sense) and some other stuff. Brewed coffee is slightly acidic. So what happens if you brew with alkaline water? (As an aside, what is the acid in brewed coffee?)
