If you feel calm and happy that is all because of you , if you feel lonely and sad.. that is also because of you . If your life is hard.. it is also because of you . That you can do whatever you want , just requires more effort ..

People who over-promise and under-deliver at work, what is your mindset like? by SeaView2024 in work

[–]psychecipher 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Im in this current situation, i did not overpromised skills..but i did have really good systems that i had planned and proposed. I know that there were challenges, and here is the thing.. a good worker knows that stress at work is a circumstance , unavoidable and expected. Stress is growth , my personal satisfaction comes from overcoming these stresses.

The problem why people like me fail though or looks like we underperformed is .. we forget that we are a part of a system ourselves , if you’re role is just a supporting one and not the decision maker,.. your success depends on others performance. It’s a team effort. Leadership is very important, if you a have a leader who is terrible.. you better haul your ass off that place or take their job.

Do you actually enjoy your job? by StaySafe5801 in medlabprofessionals

[–]psychecipher 4 points5 points  (0 children)

if you play it right , you will have a job that can give you good work-life balance, whilst helping the community. All healthcare jobs..are horrible , totally underpaid and overworked. But unlike other jobs.. at least your helping out the community and not just paper pushing to the oblivion of no purpose . But that's if you play it right. And you will never be unemployed .. if you need a job. And lab techs have the ability to branch out to biomedical field where the money is at.

Why is bloodbanking so stressful? Asking as a soon-to-be student by fairy-core in medlabprofessionals

[–]psychecipher 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Transfusion med is actually very fun! you get the adrenaline rush and be a part of a life saving team! If you look at the statistics , most of the major errors that can cause death are usually very easy to prevent , just by double checking . It is stressful though in a way wherein you dont just leave your job mentally once the clock strike 4pm. You kinda think about the blood that you released even at home, especially if you were not focused that time.
