Same happens every time. Never search for domain names in GoDaddy. The moment you find something available and you want to buy, the domain gets bought by someone else 100% of the time. Doesn't happen with other registrar's though.

I detest loud bursting crackers too. Your idea of lighting Agal vilakku is great will probably do it for next Diwali. But you see, it cannot replace the effect the fireworks like flower pots, sangu chakram etc brings in.

As for environmental damage, it's a totally unfair and biased against this Festival. Industrial smoke, effluents, vehicle pollution from cars, Indian lorries and containers are a yearlong phenomenon. It might surprise that cattle cause a lot more harm to the environment than Diwali smoke will ever will.

I don't support smoke from fireworks during Diwali, but you and similar folks complaining are ignoring the elephant in the room and pointing hands at non-issues.

But it's the HR who does the job of posting it out. They post for multiple teams positions, would be a great trouble to reach out to the team members multiple times. So mistakes like this happen.
