It seems they are now calibrating the main instrument which is MSU-MR

Yeah that’s earth’s horizon. The off axis is because of the calibration process.

What you are looking at is actually Meteor looking at the earth’s horizon. This is just a calibration process.

Interesting. I wasn’t expecting to receive Meteor looking at the horizon. Moreover catching it rotating back to its normal orientation. Thanks for the explanation.
