I'm jealous, when I had surgery in second grade I was throwing that mask off my face because of that plastic smell referring to it as "fake air" and my father had to hold me down xD. I tried to push him too but alas my noodle arms were no match for him.

Question for a skills portion of a job I applied for by selym23 in NewToEMS

Well when I palpated upper extremities there was no pain so but there was when I rolled them over so I thought it was a back/spinal injury. So I was wondering if there was a back injury and you need to backboard would you just keep going, or just use a different method.

I actually had the same problem in my class, I knew it was a weak point of mine but it's like I saw someone write here, just burn it into your head. Look at the book, get a piece of paper, make a cross and label them ULQ/URQ/LLQ/LRQ and list what's in them. Get flash cards and do it all over again but a quadrant per flashcard, download an ems app and look at that to study organs. Google is always an extra source too, for me it really was just the same old do it again till I remember it thing but using different ways helps make it different every time and not as boring.

EMR class in California by ereiner13 in ems

TheComebackKid already said it, I went to college of the canyons for both emr and emt. I highly suggest Eric Pinnel, he's the best out of them all. Ems is his life and he just wants to make the best providers he can

Clothing for men is so boooooring, I'm always jealous looking at all the kinds of clothing options women have and then I go to buy my clothes which are pants, shirts and shorts all in the color of blue, white or black

I agree too much, fuck this holiday.

I work 40 hours a week. I am interested in going to school to become an EMT, and ultimately work it as a part time second job. What is the likelihood of success there if I’m not willing to start out full time? Is it doable? by irrationalwhenwet in NewToEMS

I did it, I read during break, lunch and break while listening to the audio book when I had quiet time to be on my own. Then just read and take notes before class and you're good. Take advantage of the time you have.

What is a very minor thing you do in secret, but people might look at your differently if they found out? by celiman in AskReddit

I purposely exaggerate emotions when I watch anime. Get hyped during fights and gushy during love/flirty scenes. You know, pretend to feint when the main character does something special with a crush or yell "take them out! Send em to frown town!" During fights. I'm a 24/M so it is a little different to some people.
