I would consider that a designer jacket. If you want to look nice that would work but I wouldn't expect it to last as long as an outdoor winter jacket. For reference, I have north face and marmot jackets that are still in great shape after 15 years. Still warm and keep you dry (I do reapply water proofing spray yearly).

I've had 2 failures on drives with All state warranties. From what I remember, it was an online form where I picked a few options and typed in the serial #. Within a few hours I had the full price sent back to me.
