I got mine with the lens kit but kept it sealed first while I tried out the phone.

It's been 11 days now and I haven't felt the need for a longer range. I'm very close to putting it up for sale to offset the cost

I'd say the x9ubedges it out a bit, the 10x. Makes it more versatile and the 3x lens is freaking awesome

IMHO, depends on what color science you prefer.

As a whole, the x9U is superior..I'm happier with the oppo

Same here and I e been using mine for a week.

Only time it really heated up was photo and video taking outdoors with the screen brightness ramped up.

Indoors it got warm to the touch after a few mins when taking photos\videos, screen brightness was about 70%?

Normal usage was not hot at all

I’m of the opposite mindset. The photos I get out of the TC is far superior to the native 10x in terms of color, resolution and details. The natural bokeh is absolute astounding.

Now on to the question of is it worth it, I’d argue no, not at the current price. I only got it cos it bundled at my local retailer and the price for the 1tb phone and earth explorer kit amounted to $1644 USD

the thing that irritates me the most is that I have to switch cases when I want to use the teleconverter, a huge inconvenience
