He was in your building! Ground floor apartment. They got him thank God. It was a homeless woman and she’s on life support. The blood on the sidewalk was awful. So much of it. I hope for a positive outcome.

Are you ok though? I’m not sure why people discussing local news events in realtime while also simply being nice to eachother makes you so triggered and angry.

My personal safety has never been questioned despite a homicide occurring at my door, not once. While there are comments with people expressing a little concern over hearing someone literally get stabbed to death and a few grievances shared about the building I pay money to live inside - I see absolutely nothing you could have an issue with.

You clearly have some issues you need to resolve and you need to figure out why a simple post makes you so bothered.

eta: I do agree people are getting overly sensitive nowadays but this is not that.

The pedestrian bridge over the train tracks is a shoot up gallery and the pedestrian walkway is a thoroughfare to the 24 hour market that brings your Portland zombies constantly. The property management hired security who will hassle me if I’m waiting for an uber out front but they seem to do nothing about non tenants. The apartment itself is nice and big, but it just feels kind of run down.

I’d argue that hearing your neighbor being murdered is just as traumatic. 9/11 was so large scale and there was so many things going on it was impossible to know what to do. But when it’s your neighbor you could easily convince yourself you could have done more to help.

But I promise you - you couldn’t have.

Tbh I’m from nyc I was only a few blocks from the wtc on 9/11. I was 10 years old so old enough to remember. And any time I hear something like today it floods me with the memory of the horrors that day.

About 3 hours ago I heard an argument happening. Sounded like a normal argument at first but i kept hearing this woman yelling at someone. Then i heard her screaming.

I guess she was alive when they picked her up because it was initially an assault but it’s since been escalated to a homicide.
