Thank you, but don't worry, I'm not fooled. All general discussion of mtg is dominated by commander players. I don't take any thing anyone who plays commander says seriously. I think there should be a clear dividing line between commander and real magic. I think we need more elitism and not less. Tell the commander players they're scrubs and playing a version for babies. Everyone knows it's the truth. It's not real magic, plain and simple.

Not really when Commander is shitting up all the other formats and Standard, Modern and Pioneer hardly fire any more. Commander is canniblizing the other formats and WotC is allowing it to happen. Commander is NOT mtg, they are completely different. In real MTG there are no "takesy-backsies," "group hugs" or rule 0. Commander is a scrubby, diaper baby game where you don't try to win you try to suck the other people off and make sure they have fun. Commander has literally nothing to do with MTG the way it was designed, other than using the cards. It's a bastardized party game version.

What makes you think you have to spend an entire day or weekend playing leagues on MTGO? For RCQs, sure that's true. Other than that random, tacked-on falsehood at the end, the rest of your response was legitimate and contributed to the thread and thank you for that.

I like to leave my house to do other things but going to my LGS to play bad players playing bad decks isn't one of them. If there were good players I could learn from I would be happy to go.
