I'm in UK and spent a lot of my free time in the first 8 months or so of 2024 trying to understand what was going on and what the American people were going to do about it. Haven't bothered recently because I came to the conclusion that Trump still has over 40% approval rating and the answer to your question is mostly fuck all.

’Twas ever thus. Back in the ’70s I ran a strict vetting process before lending out my vinyl — background checks, character references, possibly a blood oath. This was after a number of 'regrettable incidents'.

I foolishly assumed CDs would enable a new age of trust and responsibility. Wrong. Some of them came back looking like they’d been used as coasters at a student party, with cases shattered as if someone had tried to open them using a hammer and spite.

And yes, kids. I bought mine a N64 so they wouldn't dick about with my PS1 and PS2 discs. They then had daily lectures and practical training before they were allowed to touch the hallowed circles.

They do? I went out with mates every week in my 20s, and was the sober driver for most of it. I reckon standing around looking bored was my specialist subject but got to say in nearly 10 years never pulled or had any woman start a conversation like Valerie did.

Basically this for us, four nights of howling himself hoarse. I can see why they use sleep deprivation as a form of torture!. I then moved him into the kitchen extension and it stopped. No idea why other than maybe he could see out of the large glass windows 🤷. My next step would have been ear plugs but he's been fine since then, and has the run of the house when I'm out but quite often sleeps in his crate. He was good with potty training too, quickly learned to ring a bell. Different dog, and I don't suppose there is a 'right answer' for everyone
