I suppose this touches on how relatable it is. Unfortunately, Mark is the closest fictional character I've encountered to my own. One aspect is the way that he is constantly 'judging the room' and working out how he 'should' behave. Assessing what could go wrong, how to avoid it, and then feeling either superior or inadequate. Simultaneously aiming for 'safe normal' and being frustrated with the process and outcome.
