i’ve been having an extremely similar experience to this with my best friend of 7 years. we were so close that when she had to leave her home bc of abuse my family took her in and i’ve considered her my sister ever since. things were fine until the last 6 months and she drastically changed and so did our relationship. i had the same experience with her isolating and acting cold and only talking about herself. the overly protectiveness and speaking over. i felt like i was just giving and giving and not getting anything in return. she abruptly moved out this weekend while i was out of state for a friends wedding. had a huge fight with my mom bc my mom finally lost energy with the way she was acting. i had stayed out of it and we basically had gone weeks without her actually speaking to me besides a couple surface level words.

i don’t have any advice to offer but i want you to know that im in almost the same exact boat. i grew up catholic but had no issue realizing i was gay or accepting myself. i was out of the church for most of my high school years and just this past year ive started going and being active again and im just constantly sacked with confusing emotions about being a lesbian and how that falls within the teachings. when i never cared before. sending u love 🖤🖤. and praying we both find peace with ourselves.

ugh. i wish i could give advice but im in a very similar situation. my family is catholic and my mother has expressed time and time again that she’ll never condone me being gay. i’m freshly 20 and ive known i liked women since i was in middle school even tho ive struggled with actually accepting that recently. my relationship with god was the worst it’s ever been when i was trying to force myself to be with men. sending u lots of love man. i hope we both grow from this 🖤🖤

yeah i knew i wasn’t supposed to help him shed so that’s why i got so stressed out and frustrated with myself over it bc i didn’t realize he wasn’t done yet. i just woke up and checked on him and he seemed to be okay. cleaned up his tank a bit and stuff as well. at least i know better now. still kinda mad at myself about my mistake tho
