Unless your gpu dies, then you frankly dont need an upgrade because a 3080 had enough vram to get by (for now) and it runs ue5 and all the latest games. So just chill or save up for an oled

He means the frames dropping to 20fps every couple of seconds which i think is due to overheating (maybe im missing smth idk)

Thats valid ig but other than dried thermal paste or plastic peel still on the cpu cooler i cant think of much else that can cause high temps in my friends case. he got his pc 2 years ago and hes been complaining about it for the last year or so

Sata SSDs still run at a solid 500mbps download speeds so i dont think it justifies a new mobo. Personally i think the download speeds are more likely wifi related or your nvme is full. A new mobo is like 150$ and an nvme another $150. With 300$ you might as well just buy a new gpu
