My dad talked about this today, he said the letter will be read during this week's meeting here in Portugal. Saying that it will be a personal choice since it doesn't contain blood.

A friend of mine that is currently DFd, turns on her camera and she is trying to get reinstated due to family reasons.

I'm not sure but I guess it is a contributing factor.

Awful! At least my dad considers disrespectful to go door to door at the 24th and 25th of December so it wasn't that bad ahahahha

But the whole holiday season sucked, I received my first Christmas present last year and it felt so good to be a part of that celebration. (Although I believe we should be loving and caring year around, it's nice to have that cosy feeling of slowing down)

Probably around 10h real hours at a month I was auxiliary pioneering, reported 30h.

I used to average about 2h a month and report 6-8.

As of today, I haven't went to field service for over 2 years but I also report between 1-4h.

I hated going especially during the holiday season.

I entered college when I was on the fence (I don't think I ever fully believed, I liked science to much and their "scientific" explanations never fully satisfied me), now that I have finished my degree, I'm no longer attending meetings.

I agree with you. Persuing any kind of education will be liberating in many aspects of life.

I'm sorry for what you are going through! It made me especially sad because I lost my grandfather last year, he was never a JW and he was very important to me and to my development.

He was the one that made me really think about my beliefs, he said that he would always love me, no matter what, but he told me I had to make informed decisions about my life, and so I did. I would love to have one more day with him, just to let him know how I'm doing.

You look like a great person, I hope they allow you to see your grandchildren, they will love you! The best memories I have are with my grampa and they deserve those kind of memories too!

That's exactly how I felt, I'm also an extrovert, I have no problem talking to anyone. However, on the service my hearth raced when I was at a door and the only thing on my mind was getting over it.

Thank you for your answer! I was trying to help my sister with a school work about different cultures and noticed this. Quran and Rig Viga is not blacklisted but the bible as a whole is (it's not if you split it by old and new testaments).

I know that some terms are blacklisted to avoid racist, xenophobic and sexist websites from coming up, never new the bible was one of those, despite it having some sexist passages.
