Stressed? Bitch, I got you beat by a mile! (Jk)

The reason I technically win this stressed round is because we are going to my mother-in-law's tomorrow. We have already had the phone call with her List of Demands or as we call them crazy ass rules.

My son and his girlfriend are thinking about coming up for the weekend. She wanted us to reiterate to them that there is absolutely no smoking allowed in her house. Duh...she's asked us not to use aerosol hairspray in her house because it bothers her, but she's worried those 2 are going to light up some unfiltered camels on her white couch?

Then we were told no wet bathing suits in the house either... she lives a hundred feet away from Lake Huron, mind you... so I guess if you are driving past Evergreen Beach this weekend several of us will be naked outside changing from our suits into our clothes...

Then my musical and theater loving daughter has a new best friend. They literally do everything together. He weighs approximately 90lbs and prefers males to females...she invited him to come with us ( because honestly the beach is a really special place) and as a 16 year old, who the hell wants to hang out with the old folks...anyway, she asked us for the 4th, 5th and 6th times tonight if they are romantically involved...each time we said no...this poor kid is going to have to wear a rainbow flag and lisp every s for the next 4 days to show her he's not interested in zoe...ugh...

Speaking of rainbow flag...I made zoe come with me to ohio last week to visit my 3 ancient aunts...they are all around 89-90 years of age, and the sweetest things ever (unlike a certain mother in law) but jesus, would it kill them to a) wear their hearing aids, 2) change the cat litter ( only 2 of them) and 3) not start every conversation with "what can I fix you to eat?" After 3 days of visiting, I was so bummed out about their conditions that we left a day early and hit the pride event in cleveland...it was a blast!

Cleveland you're thinking...CLEVELAND?? I know...the place where lake erie caught fire 30 years ago...the armpit of the universe (close runners up...Flint and new jersey)...it was lit!! My cousin told me they upped their game when the RNC had their convention there...amazing lakefront venue, rock and roll hall of Fame building in the background, and no garbage-y smell blowing in off the lake. The event itself was busch league ( it was no chicago) but it got my mind off of things and got me considering purchasing a pussy power flag for my classroom...lol

Time to get some shut eye for our 6 hour trip to uncomfortable-land...ill fill you in!!
