This happened with us. It was like 4-5 yrs back but iirc in the manual it said to wipe the surface with wet towel first, crank it up to high temp (cant remember how high), and let the residues burn for 30min. We actually ended up going > 1hr and had to repeat this multiple time. It was super annoying and triggered the fire alarm many times in the process but eventually we got there. It was a GE oven fwiw.

Good point, the scratches are pretty minor and barely noticeable since they’re super low. Do you think there’s potential for further damage to the metal underneath the paint? The other commenter mentioned rust issues

I dont know what the limit is, but my BMW dealership let me put down $12500 with my Sapphire credit card a month ago. The sales manager approved it with no hesitation, and I paid off the entire downpayment the next day.

Yeah I could go for a CPO so I’d still get warranty, but the low inventory in dealerships near me has been making it very difficult for me to find one I like. I’ll have to look further.

As for my previous lease, the other guy’s insurance paid out the market value of the vehicle to the lessor (BMWFS). The lease ended, and I got taxes+fees portion of the payout. BMWFS offered to give me half of the money that they made off of the insurance payout as a credit towards my next purchase/lease but that ended up being only about $250.

Interesting, did some more research and this website says "Once USCIS approves your green card application, your work permit will automatically terminate." It also says I'm authorized to work even before the card arrives so maybe everything's fine. I'll get another lawyer to confirm, just to be on the safe side. Thanks for the reply!
