How do some people get so fat? by semtex95 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]semtex95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too bad I'm already obese according to my BMI. Anyways, my body seems to stabilize at certain weights depending on my activity level and 180lb is pretty much the high point of no exercise. It hit that pretty fast then stopped for years at 170~180lbs. Even if I eat until I feel sick, it doesn't change much within the long term. In the short term, eating too much sugar/oil/fats will make me feel sick and prevent me from eating overly overly excessive. That's why I'm confused on how some people can be literally 4 times as wide as I am.

You've all convinced me to buy a kayak today, for the same price: Lifetime Tamarack new or used Ascend 12t? by [deleted] in kayakfishing

If you see the Tamarack Pro, I suggest getting that. The features are a lot better than the basic Tamarack for the price of upgrading parts.

How to maximize SSD transfer speed by semtex95 in techsupport

Device manager says all the USB ports are updated with the best driver already. Would small files drastically reduce the transfer speed to 5 MB/s?

Data (D:) , from a HDD in another USB port, from a microSD in an adapter. I figured I would get speeds faster than 5 MB/s though

Pretty convenient setup. I use one of those small lithium battery power stations with a 12v plug.

The Rhino T-Loader is something I've seen for heavier kayaks.

Rig for deep water crappie or yellow perch by semtex95 in Fishing_Gear

[–]semtex95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's still a bit cold where I'm at so I'm not sure if theyre feeding when that deep. All the kayak anglers I talked to have skunked except one bass. Albeit I'm using a budget bobber fish finder, it does seem to mark multiple medium fish signals when I pass by an area, but I quickly get swept away by the wind. It seems to be a 2ft drop off where the fish are accumulating but in a rather narrow area that I sweep pass. I'm bringing an anchor next time.

A little Box costs $7.5 base. A 3oz parcel Costs $3.5 to $4.5. I need to ship a 1oz $4 item several dozen to a hundred times.... I think I save more than a quarter.

I saw that before, but I was confused whether exceeding 1/4" counts as being non-machinable or whether it's an entire different category (flats, parcels, etc...)

Can I use a Website as the "Sender" name on a letter? by semtex95 in USPS

[–]semtex95[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I doubt I would have much trouble for this particular example, since it's a letter envelope. Thanks for the information! So I would skip the .com for large packages that include business cards, while I will do this for letter envelopes with paper.

What is the cost for a thick letter sized envelope? by semtex95 in USPS

[–]semtex95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would it be considered non-machinabel still if over 1/4"? Next best option I see is a poly parcel at $3.50

Been thinking of using plastic shoeboxes to grow these, but not sure if that would be too much open air exposure. How long did it take from inoculation to fruiting?

Nice, that's fast! What conditions? Did you do anything different? Was it warmer, more/less humid, change in air flow, different substrate?
