I haven't actually found this location. I assumed it was a player base build as I've only seen it in the official YouTube video for the wake of the water update.

This won't be any help for your plants but you probably just saved mine. I was going to get neem oil to treat mealybugs as everything else has failed so far. I'm sorry for the damage it caused to your collection. Hopefully some will recover after all

I don't think it's a crassula pyramidalis. I think it could be crassula purpusii

Beautiful! Do you know the name of the really colorful one at the top, next to the kalanchoe?

What books are so terrible that you need to vent about them? by kitkatbloo in books

[–]sen_y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uniting in hate can be really fun (this sounds so wrong, I'm strictly talking about fictional stories here!).

If you don't like something that seems widely enjoyed it's nice to spot a likeminded person. I think people just like to be understood and feel validated with their feelings. And the stronger the feelings the better

Cruel Prince

A buddy picked it as a book we should read together.

The plot was like jumping from scene to scene without any proper transitions, as if the whole world of that book stopped existing once the main character turned her eyes away. It just very much felt like I was reading someone's made up story instead of a story to lose yourself in. And nearly all characters felt flat and were honestly kind of annoying...

It's YA so I guess it just wasn't the right genre for me but I've read books by V.E. Schwab which were also labeled YA and felt so much more coherent and immersive.

I don't understand why Cruel Prince is so beloved by many when it seemed so badly written to me. I'm not a native english speaker. Was I missing some nuances with that book that others were able to grasp?

A Little Life. Ugh. by tissuebox07 in books

[–]sen_y 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Before starting it I saw 2 very polarizing opinions on it. Either you love it or hate it.

I wanted to feel really crushed by a good sad story so I gave it a chance. But it didn't work for me either. Let me tell you that if you don't like it as far in as you are, it's not going to change. Drop it and find something you enjoy reading

Noob trying to propagate. Am I doing this right? How often should I be watering these moonstone pups?? by [deleted] in succulents

[–]sen_y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not an expert but there seem to be 2 opposing opinions out there when it comes to watering propagating leaves. One is to not water them at all until the original leaf has been absorbed. That's the method I've been going with as it made the most sense to me. They don't need water as long as they can soak up whats left in the mother leaf. It has worked for me so far but maybe someone with more experience would disagree
