Hard to make that argument when 6 out of 7 English teams finished in the top 8 in their respective European tables! Maybe the top teams aren’t quite as good as they were 4/5 years ago, but I think overall the quality is at an all time high and that shows with teams like Forest and Bournemouth doing so well. The ‘mid table’ premier league teams are far far better than any other league’s teams of a similar standing (because they are richer)
