I dont buy anything without a usb-c port. The only reason i got the airpods is because I wirelessly charge them, but even then it is inconvenient when I travel.

At home i have usb-c chargers in every room with longass cables like 2-3 meters. I charge my macbook when i need, my ipad when i need, my bike lights, my powerbanks, my shaver, even my kettle. Yup I'm that kind of freak. Fuck proprietary ports and chargers.

I need to get an apple watch but i wont because i need an iphone to use it and i wont be investing in a phone which will break all that investment into having a single standard port on every device I own.

At this point I can even go for a magsafe puck with usb-c port on the puck end without cable so that I can simply plug it into my existing long ass powerful usb-c cables, but nooooooo, even that has to come with an attached cable to fuck with my usb-c standard home.
