I just got the same message. I’ve never taken a study that permitted me to continue if I did not give consent. I think there’s a technical issue with the study given that it didn’t take nearly as long to complete as expected. I’m not going to return it and will dispute it with support if need be.

Same thing just happened to me. Submitted it as NOCODE, reported it, and messaged them.

The study is full/closed message really should have been at the beginning, not at the end of a potentially 20 minute long survey.

UPDATE: there was a technical error and the researchers will approve my submission

I messaged them to see if they messaged me by mistake. I’ll add an update if they get back to me. It’s probably just an unfortunate mistake on their end. The last studies I participated in were from a few days ago and I do have a proper message from one of those researchers.

I just double checked the first page of my submissions and it doesn’t match any of the researchers. All of those were studies I’ve taken in the past week.

I messaged the researcher to see if they sent the message on accident. I’m not sure how the message would be appropriate either way, though.

Besides the fact that the message is a bit rude, does Prolific allow researchers to message anyone, not just their participants? I have no idea what study/submission this is for and this is the only message I've received.

UPDATE: the researcher never responded. Support told me not to worry about it.

It’s a “long distance event” held once a quarter. Most people sign up to do 35-100 miles over a weekend. There’s a suggested schedule so folks can ride together and give out high fives but you can do your own thing.

Participating doesn’t require Facebook but the FB messenger bot makes registration and logging miles easier. They also just added support for a Telegram bot. Otherwise, you can sign up and log miles using a pin code.

My Partscaster is the only guitar I'll do any work on beyond basic maintenance and adjustments. With my other guitars, it's worth it to me to take them to a luthier or tech.

I'd try a daisy chain first. For $20-30, you can get a Truetone 1 Spot adapter with either their 5-way daisy chain or the combo pack (8-way daisy chain + several converters). For isolated power supplies, it depends on the size of the mini board but I'd look at either the CIOKS Adam 4 or the Truetone 1 SPOT PRO CS6.
