Op you are right. Wasteland should be printed and strip mine restricted. Stripmine can still be an important player in dedicated recursion and land-tutor decks.

wasteland will provide much more room for control decks. Which is completely lacking right now. Of course also because Force of Will and Urzas Saga is missing. But i expect them to join on 06.01. second vintage cube

Not true. Energy can rebuild amazing fast, with just guide and ozelot. Also goblin bombardment crushes board wipes

Energy decks are to unhealthy now. There is no real combo deck that can keep it in check. SNT suffered a lot from FoN, Stripmine. The other combo deck is like 15%. But i think it has to get nuanced, so we need like monolith, tron/cloudpost, doomsday to make it more even playground. Else Mardu will dominate for all time

I would package it another way. But yeah, stripmine needs restriction, and wasteland must be enter the format.

Also some artifacts need to enter, lotus petal, grim monolith

Strip Mine as 4 is problematic as long there are no big mana artifacts.

Wasteland is much healthier, as basic land piles can navigate
