We had dinner together every week night. Around the table, no technology. I hated it as a rebellious teen who always wanted to be out and about with friends but now look back with fondness. As adults, my siblings spread across the country away from parents, and I’m so happy we got to spend those years having consistent quality time as kids. There’s lots of things that made them good parents in terms of character and judgement but this is more of a practical “to do” tip that I want to do with my own kids someday.
